Kylie, sister Queenie Padilla to give birth at around same time

MANILA, Philippines — Actress Kylie Padilla, who is five months pregnant with her first born with fiancé, actor Aljur Abrenica, is not the only one expecting in the family. Her sister, former actress Queenie Padilla, is also pregnant.

“Nakakatawa kasi we’re both pregnant. Four days lang ‘yung difference namin! So siguro, sabay kami manganganak,” Kylie shared in an interview with the press during her recent launch as new endorser of personal care store chain Watsons.

“Ang sabi ko, ‘Oh my, may sibling agad ‘yung anak ko! May playmate agad!” exclaimed Kylie, who is due to give birth in July or August.

Kylie and Queenie are daughters of actor Robin Padilla with his estranged wife, Liezl Sicangco. The girls were born within months from each other. Queenie, the older one, was born in July 1992, only six months before Kylie was born in January 1993

Since Kylie started in showbiz when she was 17, she was not able to see her siblings often. Whenever the sisters would see each other, they would bond by shopping and going to Watsons stores.

“Whenever I see Watsons, I would miss my sisters,” Kylie shared.

When she was chosen as new ambassador, she said, “Nag-melt ‘yung heart ko. My sister was so happy when she saw me in a Watsons poster!”

Kylie does not know her child’s gender yet, but she and Aljur have already chosen a name for a boy. They are still looking for a girl’s name.

“Ang inaabangan ko na lang siguro ‘yung first kick. Ngayon, gumagalaw na s’ya. Nararamdaman ko na pero ‘di ko pa nakikita sa t’yan ko,” she narrated.

Her mom, Liezl, is now arranging to fly from Australia to be with her when she gives birth.
