How does Xian Lim deal with bashers?

MANILA, Philippines – “Maskit po. Masakit po talaga magkaro’n ng bashers," said Xian Lim.

The ABS-CBN actor has thousands of followers on his Twitter and Instagram accounts, making him a prime target for online trolls and naysayers. .

“Uuwi ako sa bahay minsan luhaan, minsan I feel na wala na akong [magagawa]. Umabot po kasi sa point na ‘yon, e, na you’re really depressed,” he said about being affected by bashers.

Thankfully, he has a “strong support group” who would uplift him whenever he feels down.

“Kailangan you have a really strong support group. That’s a must,” he explained. “You must have really good friends who understand you, para you’re shock absorbers. Hindi ka nila i-judge kung sino ka. I’m very thankful na andyan ang nanay at lola ko, who is really absorbing [what I say].”

“If you have a very good circle to lift you up, no one can bring you down, e,” he added.

The Kapamilya actor knows he may have done things that the public might not like.

He’s also aware of the fact that he might have placed a wall around him, making it hard for the public to understand him.

“Ang main goal ko sa 2016 is mas makilala n’yo po ako, mas makilala ako ng tao,” he said. “Siguro may nagawa ako ng 2014 na siguro mayro’n akong wall na hindi nakikita ng tao kung sino talaga ako.”

“Ngayon nabigyan ng pagkakataon, e. Sabi ko sa sarili ko na I can’t waste any time. I’ll take this moment,” he added.

Meanwhile, Xian said that through the film “Everything About Her,” he was able to better understand the struggles that a single parent goes through.
