Pageants not just for the young

MANILA, Philippines - More and more Filipinas are joining and winning in beauty pageants. The latest winner is Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach.

On GMA News TV’s lifestyle program Gandang Ricky Reyes Todo Na Toh (GRR TNT) on Jan. 23 at 9 a.m., meet Lola Babylyn Newfields who will join the Mrs. Grandma Universe contest this year. Babylyn proves that in vying for a beauty title — age, really, does not matter.

Every now and then, we get tired of some home-cooked dishes. Host Ricky Reyes says, “Old recipes, when given a new touch such as adding condiments, vegetables and fruits, will (please) tastebuds.” A chef demonstrates some of his recipes on the show.

Meanwhile, Ricky will also introduce such exercise options as aero smash, hip-hop smash and silk exercise for fitness buffs. 

Spotlight on the show will also be trained on Kapuso loveteams Barbie Forteza and Andre Paras, Bea Binene and Derrick Monasterio, and Miguel Tanfelix and Bianca Umali. They will star in new teleseryes this year.
