Paulo joins OTWOL

MANILA, Philippines – Paulo Avelino (photo) will be joining the cast of ABS-CBN’s primetime teleserye On the Wings of Love (OTWOL), starring James Reid and Nadine Lustre.

Paulo is set to play Leah’s new boss (Nadine Lustre) Simon in the advertising firm she is working for. Paulo’s addition to OTWOL will spice and shake things further between Clark and Leah’s romance as he is expected to become a potential rival of Clark (James Reid) along with Jigs (Albie Casino).

Although he has not made an appearance in the teleserye, Paulo’s character will be one of the twists in the story that viewers must not miss.

Biboy Arboleda, Adprom manager of Dreamscape, said, “Paulo’s character will bring a new kind of excitement because we firmly believe that Simon’s character is fit for Paulo.” He added, “We patterned it after him and added new elements on how people are in the advertising industry so that Simon will have a contrast to Clark, but blends well with Leah.”

On the Wings of Love is consistently making social media abuzz every night and is maintaining its strong lead as the No. 1 most watched program on iWant TV for two months in a row, with a whopping 4.4M total views for October alone.
