‘Closest thing to Beatles’ in Manila

MANILA, Philippines - Mention the phrase “The Fab Four” and what comes to mind is the British band The Beatles and the Beatlemania of the ‘60s. Take a trip down the memory lane as the “most authentic” tribute band to the Beatles legend, Britain’s Finest (photo), comes to rock Manila on Oct. 17, 8 p.m. at The Theatre of Solaire Resort and Casino. Enjoy the night away with such Beatles hits Hey Jude, I Want To Hold Your Hand, She Loves You, A Hard Day’s Night and Twist and Shout.  

The Southern California-based tribute band has had impressed hardcore fans with their accurate interpretation of the songs through precise vocals and vibe, not to mention the costume changes capturing the iconic Beatles in different eras. The high, positive energy of the band and the witty banter demonstrate the youthful enthusiasm the Beatles had during their several live performances in the ’60s.

As the “closest thing to The Beatles since The Beatles,” Britain’s Finest members Benjamin Chadwick (as Paul), Tyson Kelly (John), Robert Bielma (George) and Luis Renteria (Ringo) are all incredible musicians in their own right.
