Sam on 'breakup' with Jasmine: I can’t point fingers at anybody

MANILA, Philippines – Sam Concepcion wants to “keep things personal” regarding his reported breakup with Jasmine Curtis-Smith.

The two were reported to have broken up early this year, but both parties have refused to talk about the issue directly.

“Whatever’s going on right now, I really hope we can keep things personal. And I hope you guys can give that to me,” he said in a TV interview aired recently.

Sam added, “I just want to keep things personal at the moment.”

According to reports—particularly the report of “The Buzz” last month that alleged the couple’s break up—one of the reasons for the split is Sam’s lack of effort to win over Jasmine’s older sister Anne.

Although not confirmed, Anne reportedly does not approve of Sam for Jasmine.

But Sam said he’s not blaming anyone or anything for what happened.

“I cannot point fingers at anybody because our relationship is about two people and just that. Dun sa lang sa babae at lalaki,” he said. 

“So I’m not blaming anyone or anything else… or kung ano mang controversy surrounding it.” 

And is he patching things up with Jasmine now? “I’m the type that doesn’t give up very easily. Kung maayos pa, aayusin ko. I will do what I can,” he said.

The two admitted they’re in a relationship in 2014, following Sam’s alleged confrontation with Jasmine’s sister Anne at a birthday party.
