Dingdong Dantes wears Marian Rivera's red pumps

MANILA, Philippines - Dingdong Dantes joined the National Youth Commission's celebration of Women's Month by wearing the red high heels of his wife, Marian Rivera.

On Friday, Dingdong posted in his Instagram account a photo of him wearing the red pumps of his wife as a salute to all the women in the world, especially to the ones in his life.

 

Nagsuot ako ng heels bilang pagbigay pugay sa mga kababaihan sa buong mundo, lalo na sa buhay ko: ang aking Nanay, mga kapatid, at lalo na ang aking asawang si Marian. #inHerShoes is the second year wherein the #nationalyouthcommission takes the lead in celebrating women power. “Nagsuot ako ng heels bilang pagbigay pugay sa mga kababaihan sa buong mundo, lalo na sa buhay ko: ang aking nanay, mga kapatid, at lalo na ang aking asawang si Marian,” he said on photo's caption.

The “In Her Shoes” campaign of agency is their of showing support to different programs that aims to protect women.

“We support all moves to strengthen the implementation of the social protection of women specially in areas such as: safety in the workplace, and ensuring women leadership that is beyond cultural boundaries and religious norms,” he said.
