3 early winners in Miss World Philippines 2014 pageant

MANILA, Philippines - Three candidates were early winners during the Miss World Philippines 2014 pageant at the SM MOA Arena in Pasay City on Sunday night.

Valerie Weigmann was declared as best in swimsuit and at the same time received the special award Miss Camarines Sur.

Best in sports was Lorraine Kendrickson and Miss Photogenic was Nelda Ibe.

The three girls were among the crowd favorites.

A total of 26 girls are vying for this year's Miss World Philippines title.

Megan Young, who was declared last year as the 63rd Miss World, will hand over the Miss World Philippines throne to tonight's winner.
