Vic on relationship with Pauleen: Age is just a number

MANILA, Philippines – Vic Sotto believes the huge age difference between him and Pauleen Luna helps make their relationship.
“Wala namang problema yung age. Age is just a number,” the veteran comedian said in a taped interview with showbiz news show “Cinema News” aired Friday, October 3.
He added: “In fact, I think it's the age difference (that makes relationship work). Kasi, maaaring malayo yung edad namin. Pero ang pagiisip ni Pauleen ay medyo may edad na. Ako naman, ang pagiisip ko ay bata pa. So nagme-meet din.”
Vic is 60 years old, while Pauleen is 25.
In the past, Vic has acknowledged his “hindi rin ideal” relationship with Pauleen. “You have a lot to go through in dealing with me. Because if you deal with me, you deal with all these people,” he told Pauleen during his 60th birthday party earlier this year.
The “Eat Bulaga” main host was also asked about proposing to Pauleen.
“Baka naman sabihin nila nakikisunod lang ako sa uso,” Vic told “Cinema News,” in reference to the number of celebrity engagements that happened this year.
He quipped, “When you least expect it, doon kayo mag-expect.”
Vic is working on “My Big Bossing's Adventures,” an entry in this year's Metro Manila Film Festival.
