Kristy: Survival thriller

MANILA, Philippines - When a college girl who is alone on campus over the Thanksgiving break is targeted by a group of outcasts, she must conquer her deepest fears to outwit them and fight back.

This is what happens to Justine (played by Haley Bennett) and her friends in the movie Kristy. They spend the weekend in their college dormitory — studying, relaxing and blissfully unaware of the terror that is about to unfold outside in the cold. Suddenly, confronted by a gang of violent outcasts, Justine’s quiet long weekend becomes one long lesson in survival as she and her classmates are terrorized in increasingly bizarre and brutal ways, leaving it up to her to figure out who their attackers are.

The movie also stars Ashley Greene, Erica Ash, Chris Coy and Lucas Till.

Released and distributed by Captive Cinema, Kristy opens Oct. 1 in theaters nationwide.
