Guitar prodigy Orianthi in Manila for shows

MANILA, Philippines - Award-winning Australian guitarist and recording artist Orianthi is in Manila for a rare series of performances in several venues this month. Orianthi is best known as the favorite guitarist of the likes of Michael Jackson, Steve Tyler, Alice Cooper, Prince, John Mayer and Carlos Santana, among many others.

Catch the beautiful Orianthi at the following venues: Aug. 27 at the Hard Rock Café in Makati and Aug. 25 at the 19 East at Km. 19, East Service Road in Sucat, Parañaque.

Orianthi had a special appearance at AMPed, a fund-raising concert of the Midlife Crisis band and AMP last Aug. 20 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater of Resorts World Manila. The concert was for the benefit of the Midlife Crisis band’s music scholars and the building of classrooms.

Orianthi’s Philippine concert tour, produced by Sanre Entertainment in partnership with Primeline Management and Production, Inc. of Ronnie and Ida Henares, is in line with the promotion of her latest single, Every Road Leads Me Back To You. She had just come from the recent performances with Richie Sambora (formerly of Orianthi) at the summer music festivals in Japan and Korea before coming to Manila.

Orianthi and Sambora, as well as Journey vocalist Arnel Pineda, are under the same management representation, Sanre Entertainment of CEO Rene Walter and Laura Sanchez.

During the presscon, Orianthi revealed that she has been collaborating with Sambora for a recording outing soon and is looking forward to a concert tour with him next year. She also spoke of the possibility of a similar endeavor with Pineda.

Best known as the lead guitarist handpicked by the late MJ for his monumental concert tour This Is It, Orianthi Panagaris or simply Orianthi has played for and with the biggest and most diverse artists in the world.
