IN PHOTOS: Sarah Geronimo is Yes! Magazine's most beautiful star

MANILA, Philippines - Sarah Geronimo is the country's most beautiful star for 2014.

This is according to celebrity magazine Yes!, which chose the the singer-actress to be on the cover of their annual 100 Most Beautiful Stars special issue.

"Para sa akin, ang nagpapaganda sa isang tao kapag meron siyang peace sa puso niya, pagmamahal, genuine na happiness, contentment. Alam niya kung ano ang strengths niya, alam niya rin kung ano ang weaknesses niya," Sarah said during the press launch of Yes! Magazine's 100 Most Beautiful Stars special issue on Tuesday, July 29.

She added, "Dapat mag focus siya kung ano ang strengths niya. Yun talaga ang ang ibubuhat mo e, kung ano yung meron ka na wala yung iba,"

"How I lived my life siguro," the 26-year-old artist said when asked what she thinks makes her beautiful.

The ABS-CBN talent celebrated her 26th birthday last July 25. 

Apart from doing a number of high profile projects (particularly starring in the movie "Maybe This Time" with Coco Martin and being one of the coaches in "The Voice Kids"), Sarah marked 2014 with a career first: last June, the singer-actress admitted her relationship with fellow ABS-CBN artist Matteo Guidicelli.

"Pinakamaganda ako when I'm surrounded by people who love me for who I really am," Sarah said.

Sarah is joined by stars such as newbies Liza Soberano and Arjo Atayde, child stars Ryzza Mae Dizon and Andrea Brillantes, TV hosts Luis Manzano and Gelli de Belen, "blockbuster kings and queens" Vic Sotto and Kris Aquino, and primetime TV stars Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo in the magazine's most beautiful list.
