Solar News Channel’s SONA coverage

MANILA, Philippines - Solar News Channel delivers a special coverage of Pres. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III’s State of the Nation Address (SONA) today.

The SONA Special Coverage starts at 3 p.m., to be anchored by Jing Magsaysay in the studio and Pia Hontiveros at the Batasang Pambansa.

With his administration under fire, Pres. Aquino faces the Filipino people to report achievements, ongoing programs and future plans of the government.

Pres. Aquino’s SONA last year was his longest speech, lasting one hour and 44 minutes with reports on jobs, social welfare and education, to name a few.

For the 2014 SONA, expected highlights include road programs in and out of Metro Manila, as well as updates on the ongoing hearing and investigation on the PDAF and DAP.
