Regine celebrates first birthday without her dad

 MANILA, Philippines - Regine Velasquez-Alcasid is celebrating her birthday without her father for the first time.

The Asia's Songbird turned 42 today, April 22.

In her Instagram account, Regine posted a photo of her with her father Gerry Velasquez, which was taken during one of her concerts.

In the photo's caption she said, “First birthday without you......... I miss you so much papa.”

Regine's father passed away this February.

Meanwhile, Regine spent quality time with her relatives as they visited Hong Kong-Disneyland for her early birthday celebration.
