Common summer diseases in MedTalk

MANILA, Philippines - This month on Solar News Channel’s MedTalk, learn more on how you can stay healthy this summer season and happily enjoy your place under the sun.

With the summer season just around the corner, many people are already planning to go on trips with family members and friends. But the Department of Health (DOH) has warned the public of possible diseases one can get in this scorching hot season.

For instance, exposure to the sun during outdoor activities can cause sunburn and heatstroke. Meanwhile, the summer season allows you to mingle with much more people so individuals are advised to be more cautious to avoid getting the flu or even sore eyes.
