Casino Filipino’s Hataw sa Tag-Araw summer treat

MANILA, Philippines - Casino Filipino (CF) showcases its version of a fun, festive summer via its entertainment offering dubbed Hataw sa Tag-Araw. The month-long themed event was launched simultaneously in various CF branches nationwide on April 2 and April 4.

Patrons and guests of Casino Filipino will enjoy performances from some of the country’s best OPM artists this month. Among them are Rico Blanco (April 9, CF Olongapo and April 16, CF Parañaque); Aicelle Santos (April 11, Madison Satellite and April 12, Ronquillo Satellite); Kaye and Cris Pastor (April 11, CF Tagaytay and April 12, CF Cebu); Jaya (April 16 at CF Pavilion, April 25 at CF Bacolod and April 26 at Malabon Satellite); Jimmy Bondoc (April 25, 365 Plaza Satellite in Laoag); and Moonstar88 (April 29, Malabon Satellite).

PAGCOR AVP for Entertainment Bong Quintana said Casino Filipino’s wide variety of entertainment offerings — from comedy to great music — will give guests an exciting summer. “PAGCOR believes that Filipinos are among the best performers in the world. We take so much pride that Casino Filipino features our very own artists, from young stars to music legends,” he said.

Apart from the regular celebrity shows, CF branches and satellites also showcase local artists during the Casino Filipino game shows. Featured guests include Brad Pete and Long Mejia (April 10, CF Hyatt); Carlos Agassi (April 11, CF Pavilion); Jessa Zaragoza (April 12, CF Angeles); Hansen Nichols (April 12, CF Cebu); Bugoy Drilon (April 24, CF Tagaytay); Frenchie Dy (April 25, CF Olongapo); and Carmen Soriano (April 26, CF Bacolod).

Casino Filipino will also feature homegrown artists like the Not Your Ordinary Boys and Girls with Miss Casino Filipino winners on April 9 (CF Hyatt), April 12 (CF Parañaque), April 23 (CF Angeles) and April 26 (CF Pavilion).

A fashion show featuring the designs of Arielle Agasang and Gerry Katigbak is on April 25 (CF Olongapo, Mimosa).

Admission is free on a first-come, first-served basis.
