Character actor Roldan Aquino passes away

MANILA, Philippines- Roldan Aquino is dead. The character actor died Monday night at the age of 65.

Aquino was known for his kontrabida roles, may it be in films or TV shows.

Some of his popular projects are “Pepeng Agimat” (1999), “Ibabaon Kita sa Lupa” (1990), “Asiong Salonga” (2011), and “El Presidente” (2012).

His daughter, Patricia Aquino, shared the news through her Facbeook account where she posted a photo of her father with a status message, “goodbye papa tapos na ang paghihirap mo, makakasama mo na si God mahal na mahal kita.”

This was followed by another post of a photograph, where she’s with her father. Here, Patricia shared her sentiments and made a promise to her late father.

“Nalulungkot ako pa, buti nlng naging makeup artist ako somehow nakatulong, marami pa akong pangarap sayo pa, pero masaya na rin ako dahil makakapag pahinga kna at kasama mo na si God. Huli man, Ginusto mong maiayos ang lahat. alam ko kung ano ang nsa puso mo. Mamiss ko ang mga paguusap natin at ang mga pangaral mo sakin, pagtatanggol mo sakin Marami kang pangarap para samin magkakapatid ako ang magtutuloy promise ko yans ayo mahal na mahal kita.”

On the latest photo she posted, she told her friends that his father’s wake is at “Oro antipolo Sto niño st.”
