Victory blowout fit for aprincess

FUNFARE - Ricky Lo - The Philippine Star

She was dressed like a princess, complete with a fairy-tale headdress, but she frowned when called Princess Ryzza and reminded everybody just to address her Kumareng Ryzza.

To celebrate her fruitful year which saw her winning several trophies as a TV host, making her the most-awarded TV host in a year, Ryzza Mae Dizon got a surprise bigger than winning awards when her Kumareng Dolor Guevarra, Marichu “Manay Ichu” Maceda and Malou Choa-Fagar (Ryzza’s manager) hosted a victory blowout for her at the posh condo unit of Lawrence Tan (bona fide member of the barkada) last Sunday, Jan. 12.

To complete the surprise, the host kumares invited Bryan Poe Llamanzares who happens to be Ryzza’s crush. When asked to pose with Bryan, who gamely obliged, Ryzza was teased no end, making her blush and unable to look at Bryan who had to leave early for a date with his girlfriend.

Ryzza’s mom Riza lugged along Ryzza’s trophies including the one she won for Best Child Performer for My Little Bossings, the official top-grosser of the just-concluded Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) which earned more than P1B, far bigger than the previous year’s P747M-plus take.

Kumareng Ryzza, the youngest member of the barkada, never forgets to thank God for all her blessings. She looks forward to owning her dream house this year.
