Baby & Family Awards winners named

MANILA, Philippines - Celebrity parents Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo and daughter Johanna “Yohan Lois” and son Juan Luis “Lucho” were awarded as the Golden Family of the Year in the Baby & Family Awards, one of the highlights of the recently-concluded Baby & Family Expo Philippines 2013, held at the SMX Convention Center Manila, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.

The celebrity couple had their first “hi-hello” in a non-showbiz encounter before Ryan became Judy Ann’s leading man in a fantaserye. Their onscreen love team developed to an off-camera relationship. Four years after, wedding bells were heard and their relationship has stayed strong. Aside from their successful showbiz careers, Judy Ann and Ryan still manage to be hands-on parents and they believe that parenting is a team effort. When it comes to enforcing discipline, they prefer to handle it on a case-to-case basis instead of imposing cardinal rules. Both parents are open to possibilities of their kids entering showbiz as Yohan and Lucho are showing signs of interest already.

Other winners were My Little Bossings stars Ryzza Mae Dizon and James “Bimby” Aquino Yap as the Golden Kids of the Year while celebrity couple Regine Tolentino and Lander Vera-Perez personally accepted the award as the Golden Couple of the Year, accompanied by their two daughters Reigne and Regan.

Outstanding entrepreneurs were also recognized. Mercato co-founder RJ Ledesma was named as the Dadpreneur of the Year while Mommy Mundo founder Janice Crisostomo-Villanueva won as the Digital Maven; Edric Mendoza as The Advocate; Katherine Ang-Tan of Numa as the Mompreneur of the Year and Lhot Javier and Daisy Sabandal as the Breakthrough Entrepreneurs for LC Kiddos.

The Baby & Family Awards was part of the fun-filled event organized by MediaCom Solutions and co-presented by Cordlife Medical Philippines.
