Angeline celebrates first Christmas without her dad

MANILA, Philippines- Angeline Quinto will celebrate her first Christmas without her dad.

Angeline’s dad, Pops Quiros, died last October 1 due to kidney failure. Though it has been two months since her father died, it’s still hard for Angeline to accept that her father is no longer with her.

“Ngayon ang hirap-hirap tanggapin lalo at magpapasko po,” she said in a recent interview.  “Kasi every Christmas magkakasama kami talaga sa bahay niya. So parang hindi lang po ako sanay.”

The Kapamilya singer she wants to celebrate her Christmas  with her relatives to ease the pain of missing her father.

“Baka sa Pangasinan,” she replied when asked where she plans to celebrate her Christmas.

“Kasi ayaw ko dito sa QC, nalulungkot ako kasi hindi pa po tapos 'yung bahay namin. So sa condo ako nakatira ngayon, e, medyo maliit lang yun kasi kaming dalawa lang ni papa dun dati  at saka yung kasama namin sa bahay.

“Napakasimple pa rin katulad ng nakaraang taon na nag-celebrate kami, yun nga, kasama yung mga tyuhin ko siguro sa Pangasinan. So gusto ko mas marami akong nakikita na kamag-anak.”
