MANILA, Philippines - Filipino beauty shone in The Year of the Snake far brighter than it did in the previous years, beating the record in 1973 when Philippine bets brought home honors, including Margie Moran, Miss Universe; Marilen Ojeda, fourth runner-up Miss International; Nanette Prodigalidad, first runner-up Miss Maja-International; and Evangeline Pascual, first runner-up Miss World.
