Eye-catching costumes and props at LitFest 2013

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - As a testament to its creativity and literary expertise, GMA Network showcases an eye-catching collection of memorable costumes and select props from some of the Network’s most notable dramas at Ayala Foundation’s LitFest 2013.

Featured are colorful and elaborate costumes from the Kapuso network’s telefantasyas Mulawin and Encantadia as well as the groundbreaking epic-seryes Amaya and Indio — equally exhibiting the richness and diversity of Filipino culture, not to mention the ingenuity of the makers behind these celebrated shows.

The famous Dwarfina house from the show which tells of the magical adventures of a girl barely the size of a finger, alongside Machete’s statue, which was featured in the network’s modern take on the Pablo S. Gomez classic are also featured in the exhibit.

Not to be missed are relevant memorabilia from another landmark GMA drama, the recently-concluded My Husband’s Lover.

LitFest is an annual event of the Ayala Foundation, which aims to boost awareness for Philippine literature.

GMA’s display can be seen at the Glorietta Activity Center until today.
