GRR presents Halloween episode

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippines and other catholic nations observe All Saints’ Day on Nov. 1. It is the time to visit the burial grounds of our dear departed and reunion of sorts for family and friends.

Today at 9 a.m. on GMA News TV’s Gandang Ricky Reyes Todo Na Toh (GRR TNT) produced by ScriptoVision will feature the different Filipino traditions of remembering the dead.

Join host-producer Ricky Reyes (photo) as he visits a happy cemetery where there are adult and kiddie carnival rides, live concerts and bazaar. GRR TNT also goes to the studio of an Australian designer where his scary prosthetic award-winning masterpieces are on display.

Reyes reminisces unforgettable moments he and his siblings spent with Madam Amada Enriquez Zabarte, who met her Maker last Sept. 30. “I have not recovered from the loss and grief but I know Mama Ada is now happy and continuously watching over us from heaven,” says Ricky, who always takes pride in telling that the beautiful, sweet and charming lady who left them at age 94 is his inspiration.
