A grand Grandparents Day at Robinsons Malls

MANILA, Philippines - Robinsons Malls celebrates Grandparents Day on Sept. 8 with a line-up of activities that will make this day even more memorable and nostalgic.

“We have line-up several shows in our malls featuring seasoned performers,” says Arlene Magtibay, Robinsons Land Corp. (RLC) business unit manager for Commercial Centers Division.

Magtibay adds that these shows will be held simultaneously at Robinsons Galleria, Robinsons Magnolia, Robinsons Place Manila, Robinsons Metroeast, Robinsons Starmills, Robinsons Nova Market and Forum Robinsons.  She also stressed there are other events that will delight our beloved grandparents.

Show band Spirit of 67 will regale lolos and lolas with its lively ’70s and ’80s repertoire while Asia’s Queen of Song Pilita Corrales will do her back-bending performances at the Robinsons Magnolia. RJ Jacinto and his band will bring their brand of music to Robinsons Place Manila while Hajji Alejandro will sing his OPM hits at Robinsons Metroeast. Bands Red Thread, 4 Will Drive and Pig Lipstick will perform at Forum Robinsons, Robinsons Nova Market and Robinsons Starmills Pampanga, respectively. All shows will start at 5 p.m. 

For those who have the passion for ballroom dancing, Robinsons Malls conduct ballroom dancing with instructionals on cha-cha, salsa and the swing at Robinsons Place Lipa.

Vintage cars can also be spotted at the exhibit areas of Robinsons Magnolia and Robinsons Place Manila. Shoppers, too, can bring home free photo printouts from the vintage photo booths in selected Robinsons Malls. Wellness booths for free check-ups will also be set up at Robinsons Starmills, Robinsons Otis, Robinsons Nova Market, Robinsons Place Cainta, Forum Robinsons, Robinsons Place Angeles, Robinsons Metroeast, Robinsons Galleria and Robinsons Place Manila. Coffee Corners will also be set up at Robinsons Place Manila, Robinsons Otis, Robinsons Metroeast, Robinsons Starmills and Robinsons Galleria.
