Auditions set for Mutya 2013 tilt

MANILA, Philippines - Mutya ng Pilipinas, Inc. is now conducting nationwide auditions for the 2013 Mutya ng Pilipinas-Asia Pacific and Mutya ng Pilipinas-Tourism pageant.

“This year’s pageant will be more spectacular because Mutya is celebrating its 45th anniversary,” said the franchise’s president Jacqueline Tan. “We’re also honoring 2012 Mutya ng Pilipinas-Tourism Rizzini Alexis Gomez who won 2012 Miss Tourism-International in Kuala Lumpur on New Year’s Eve last year.”

Those with the following qualifications can apply: Natural-born female, high school graduate, at least 18 but not older than 24, at least 5’5” tall, can speak fluent English and Filipino, and single (never been a mother).

Audition dates: Dumaguete City, May 31; Bacolod, June 1 and 2; Iloilo, June 3 and 4, at Sheridan Boutique Hotel; Cebu City, June 5, Sheridan Building; Angeles City, June 8, Grand Lewis Hotel; Quezon City, June 15 and 29, and July 3, 1 to 6 p.m., Sequoia Hotel, #91-93 Mother Ignacia Ave. cor. Timog Ave.; and Mabalacat, Pampanga (SM Clark), June 22.
