Sine Ko 5ingko opens with ‘monster’ weekend
MANILA, Philippines - TV5 kicks off the new month with an even bigger line-up of Hollywood blockbusters for the whole family with Sine Ko 5ingko. Filipino viewers will get to sit back and enjoy a string of hit films every day. Sine Ko 5ingko opens with a double monster feature this weekend with King Kong, tomorrow, March 9 at 2:30 p.m. and Godzilla on March 10, 8:30 p.m.
Watch as King Kong tells the story of an ambitious movie producer (Jack Black) who forces his cast to travel to a mysterious island. There, they encounter a giant ape that is immediately drawn to the film’s leading lady (Naomi Watts). Will the beauty tame the beast in this epic adventure?
Meantime, join Dr. Nick Tatopoulos (Matthew Broderick) as he attempts to stop a mutated lizard wreaking havoc on the streets of Manhattan in Godzilla.
These weekend’s features aren’t the only big Hollywood movies that Filipino TV viewers can look forward to in Sine Ko 5ingko. On weekdays, they can catch movies at 3:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Two of the movies to watch this month are The Grown Ups and You Don’t Mess with the Zohan, which will both air on TV5. Viewers can also look forward to the Liam Neeson starrer Taken and Dennis Rodman’s launching movie Simon Sez. Also not to be missed are the localized versions of Sherlock Holmes, Cirque du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant and Journey to the Center of the Earth.
Sine Ko 5ingko’s double-weekend features also make staying at home with the family more worthwhile. On Saturdays, viewers can catch films like Charlie’s Angels, Constantine and Ultraviolet at 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Come Sunday, they can look forward to three times the fun with animated favorites Madagascar and Monster House and action flicks Hancock and Hellboy: The Golden Army at 1 p.m., 2:45 p.m. and 8 p.m. Viewers can also look forward to the premiere of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs on Easter Sunday.
