Ronnie spends birthday with kids with cancer

FUNFARE UPDATE - Ricky Lo - The Philippine Star

As in the past, Ronnie Liang recently celebrated his 28th birthday in the company of kids with cancer at the Philippine Children’s Medical Center (PCMC) in Quezon City. There were different games for the kids and parents alike, with Ronnie joining in some of them.

“Celebrating my birthday(s) with them makes it more meaningful,” said Ronnie who also sang Mangarap Ka (from his latest album May Minamahal, released by Viva Records, ranked No. 1 in record stores nationwide, with Akala Mo, originally sung by Aiza Seguerra, as carrier single) and his hit song Ngiti with everyone singing along. A lucky girl, Kimberly, was serenaded by Ronnie while the others took pictures for the memories. Ronnie then led the prayer thanking the Lord for all the blessings and asked for guidance and more strength for the children and their parents.

After that, he gave away gifts to the kids and posed for pictures with them.

“I just felt a bit sad because some of the kids who were there last year were not there anymore this time,” added Ronnie.

Meanwhile, Ronnie is busy preparing for his mall shows: Feb. 22 at SM Clark, Pampanga; Feb. 23 at SM Marikina; March 3 at SM Masinag, Quezon City; and March 9 at SM Fairview, Quezon City.
