Sarah: Don’t fall for womanizer; Rayver, Cristine confirm breakup

DIRECT LINE - Boy Abunda - The Philippine Star

Sarah Geronimo’s performance of Britney Spears’ Womanizer on ABS-CBN’s Sarah G Live became a hot topic. After her number, she urged the audience not to fall in love with womanizers. She even asked co-host Robi Domingo if he was a cheater. Because of this, many thought that this was a swipe at Gerald Anderson who was once linked to her. Sarah apologized that same night on her show.

The Popstar Princess said sorry once again when she recently renewed her contract with ABS-CBN.

She admitted that she lost control of her emotion because of the audience and the songs she sang that night.

Sarah denied that she is bitter over her failed romance with Gerald who is now being linked to Maja Salvador. She was simply asked for her comment regarding the issue. Sarah said Maja is a friend and she wishes her true love.

Although Sarah didn’t answer the question if her friendship with Maja is affected by the controversy, she said it’s never easy to find a real friend. Pero everything happens for a reason and you have to trust God kung bakit nangyari ang mga iyon.”

Meanwhile, Sarah is busy with her latest Star Cinema movie titled It Takes a Man and a Woman opposite John Lloyd Cruz. This is their third team-up after A Very Special Love and You Changed My Life. She has no kissing scene in It Takes a Man and a Woman just like in her previous movies. Kung ano iyong na-witness nilang love story nina Miggy at Laida,” she explained.

Rayver Cruz and Cristine Reyes recently confirmed in The Buzz that they have already gone their separate ways. The two declared that they remain good friends.

At first, Rayver and Cristine did not want to disclose their break-up from the public. “Pero sa huli kasi ang daming nakakahalata, and we maybe unfairly judged na naman sa mga nangyayari, so nag-decide ako na dapat sabihin na natin. Very mutual naman ang decision namin,” said Rayver. Cristine explained they are still young and they want to focus on their respective careers.

The two clarified that there was no third party involved in their break-up. Derek Ramsay’s name is now being dragged into the split-up issue but Cristine claimed they were not dating. Derek was her leading man in No Other Woman.

Although they are no longer together, Rayver and Cristine said that they will always have a special place in each other’s lives.
