Clean Air concert set today

MANILA, Philippines - Today, the nationwide celebration of  Clean Air Day takes place in Makati City in the morning and Pasig City in the afternoon. The day starts with fun-run, martial exhibitions and messages from government officials led by Environment and Natural Resources Secretary Ramon Paje. There will also be a Clean Air Convoy with  bikers, runners and electric vehicles from Ayala Triangle, Makati City to F. Ortigas Jr. Ave. in Pasig City. 

The afternoon celebration features exhibits, organic booths and The Clean Air Concert with a stage being placed along F. Ortigas Ave. The concert  features Clean Air Champ eco-artist Lou Bonnevie who will launch the DENR commissioned theme song, Halina, Sama Sama Tayo, composed by Toto Gentica and Lou. Other artists gracing the event are True Faith, Mayonnaise, Bayang Barrios, The Drum Circle and Absolute Play. Lorenzo Mara hosts.
