100-foot Christmas tree at Araneta Center lighted

MANILA, Philippines - The intermittent rain didn’t stop the annual 31-year-old tradition of lighting the 100-foot Christmas tree in front of the Araneta Coliseum at Araneta Center last Friday night, Nov. 9.

Pilipinas beauties Janine Mari Tugonon (Universe), Elaine Kay Moll (runner-up), Nicole Schmitz (International), Ali Forbes (runner-up) and Katrina Jayne Dimaranan (Tourism International).

The guests and media guys were treated to a sumptuous buffet of Filipino food and delicacies and seasonal fruits. Surprise gifts and souvenirs from Coca-Cola were given away to all guests.
