MANILA, Philippines - After sharing memorable performances of choice teen stars last month, MMK Classics continues to showcase young talents on The Filipino Channel (TFC) this month.
On Nov. 10 (Nov. 11, Pacific time), another episode also titled Bibliya, showcases independent film sensation Martin del Rosario (Jason) who initially thinks that his parents are the perfect couple. Much to his surprise, he discovers that his father Bong (Ian Veneracion) has an illicit affair with a younger woman Karen (Marlann Flores). To save his parents’ marriage, he pursues Karen and tries to take her away from his father.
In the episode, Bimpo, airing Nov. 17 (Nov. 18, Pacific time), Kim Chiu (Joy) and Carlo Aquino (Nitoy) play a young couple faced with teenage pregnancy. Nitoy and Joy are forced to stay together for their baby but in the end realize that being together for this new responsibility is not necessarily the right path to take.
Finally on Nov. 24 (Nov. 25, Pacific time), Kim’s co-star in the hit teleserye Ina, Kapatid, Anak, Maja Salvador (Myra) takes on the role of a young girl who succumbs to physical attraction to schoolmate Dennis (Rayver Cruz) and gets pregnant in the process. Myra’s parents decide to pursue an immorality case based on the students’ school regulations and Myra and Dennis part ways. Years later, the couple becomes friends again. Eventually, they are faced with the possibility of them ending up together after all their years apart.
