Queen Latifah leads guests in Anderson

MANILA, Philippines - Watch What Happens: Live host and Bravo executive Andy Cohen when he hangs out with Anderson Cooper on Thursday. Anderson will speak with the cast of the upcoming remake of the 1989 American comedy-drama film Steel Magnolias that starred Sally Field, Dolly Parton and Julia Roberts. The film’s title is indicative of the characters of the story — women who are as delicate as magnolias, but can also be as tough as steel. The new breed of steel magnolias includes Alfre Woodard, Jill Scott and Queen Latifah (left) who will share their excitement for the made-for-TV remake. An adaptation from Robert Harling’s stage play, it will be directed this time around by Kenny Leon.
