Top bands, celebs to grace Rexona Run 2012

MANILA, Philippines -  6Cyclemind and Gracenote are all set to deliver awesome performances while some of the country’s noted celebrities are raring to join thousands of other runners in this year’s Rexona Run, happening on Sept. 23 at the SM Mall of Asia grounds. 

Now on its third year, the highly-anticipated event will feature cash prizes and medals to the winners of the 21K Solo, 21K Relay and 5K races. Flat-screen TVs and mobile phones will also be given away to lucky participants.

Joining the expected 10,000 runners are Rovilson Fernandez, Aubrey Miles, Troy Montero, Tessa Valdes, Tony Toni, Sam YG and Slick Rick of Boy’s Night Out, Rich Hardin, Anthony and Maricel Pangilinan, as well as Tricia Chiongbian and Anthon Suntay.

After the run, guests and participants can also enjoy playing exciting Kinect video games, or capture their Rexona Run 2012 moments in designated photo booths. They can also check out the booths of participating sponsors for a chance to take part in thrilling activities and win exciting freebies.

The Top 3 runners in the 21K Solo take home P7,000, P5,500 and P4,000; while P5,000, P4,000 and P3,000 will be awarded to each member of the top finishers in the 21K Relay division. The Top 3 finishers in the 5K category bring home P4,000, P3,000 and P2,000 for first, second and third places, respectively.
