Richard: My mom likes Sarah

- The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines – The stars of GMA Network’s primetime soap Makapiling Kang Muli, led by rumored off-screen partners Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati (photo),spent time with their fans from Davao recently to celebrate the Kadayawan Festival.

The love team bannered the Kapuso float during the Kadayawan Grand Float Parade and the Kapuso Mall Show at SM City Davao last Aug. 19. They were joined by co-stars Janine Gutierrez, Benedict Campos, John Lapuz, Mark Gil, and Rio Locsin.

Sarah is very much thankful that after her lead role in the top-rating show Kokak, she became a part of Makapiling Kang Muli which is nearing its final episode airing tonight.

Sarah admits that she is a workaholic and that she considers her ‘breaks’ in her home network as a blessing. ‘Everything is a blessing from God. I just love my job and I’m thankful to GMA for the continuous projects,’ she said.

On the other hand, Richard talked about inspiration: ‘We always need to be inspired, feel good, and be happy. One can be inspired for so many reasons. It doesn’t have to be a person, it can be because of work,’ he shared. When asked how his love life is, Richard simply smiled and said, ‘My mom likes Sarah.’

Also joining in the celebration of the colorful Kadayawan Festival were the cast of GMA Films’ Just One Summer – Elmo Magalona, Julie Anne San Jose, Lexi Fernandez, Sef Cadayona, and Steven Silva — and the top-rating primetime soap One True Love — Alden Richards, Louise delos Reyes, Lucho Ayala, Benjie Paras, and Raymond Bagatsing.
