E! special on Nicki Minaj

Manila, Philippines -  Famous for her eccentric costumes, outrageous music, multiple alter egos and her take-no-prisoners attitude, Nicki Minaj (photo) shares her remarkable transformation from her humble beginnings in Trinidad to become a rap superstar in E! Entertainment Special on Aug. 22 at 2 p.m.

The one-hour special will feature exclusive interviews with Nicki’s mother and father, fellow rappers Lil’ Wayne and producer Swizz Beats, as well as her best childhood friends and her elementary school teacher.
