Hataw Sayaw! holds finals

MANILA, Philippines - Payless Pancit Shanghai turned up the heat this summer with its Hataw Sayaw! Barangay Dance Showdown, where 15 dance groups moved and grooved at the Metro Market! Market! for the final shot at the top spot. Hosted by the dynamic duo of Papa Jack and Kristine Dera of 90.7 Love Radio, the last phase of the competition saw finalists deliver the performance of their lives.

The remaining teams dazzled the judges with their talent and stage presence during the grand finale. Freestylers emerged victorious, winning the P100,000 grand prize. Second place went to Next Level Octomix, for which it received P50,000, while FMD Extreme won P30,000 for the third place win. Mama’s Boys took home P10,000 for clinching the Best Introduction Video award and Freestylers pocketed an additional P10,000 for getting the Most Likes for its video on Facebook.

The level of energy was also heightened with performances from Pilipinas Got Talent’s The Velasco Brothers and Angel Calalas, the Philippine All Stars, Alden Richards and Valerie Concepcion.

More than live entertainment, attendees also had their fill of yummy snacks as they sampled Payless Pancit Shanghai. They were delighted with the Payless Pancit Shanghai bundle pack promo, which also entitled them to a single coupon for the iPad 2 raffle draw. Five lucky winners took home the must-have gadgets that were awarded at the event.
