XXX probes kidnappings

MANILA, Philippines - Julius Babao (photo) will expose the new modus operandi of kidnapping syndicates that abduct children from mothers in a special Mother’s Day episode of ABS-CBN’s XXX tonight after Bandila.

An abduction case has been filed by a mother who let a complete stranger hold her baby while paying at a grocery store counter. The stranger had previously given her P1,000 for groceries but to the unsuspecting mother’s shock, the stranger instantly disappeared along with her baby.

XXX found out that the police have already recorded many accounts of mothers victimized by groups that force children to beg for alms and have their internal organs sold.

Anthony Taberna will also look into another case of child abduction against a hospital who allegedly gave up a baby for adoption when its mother could not pay her medical bills and debts at the hospital.

Meanwhile, Pinky Webb will uncover an abortion package in Quiapo that offers not only illegal abortion pills but also an abortionist at hand.
