Michelle to take up Culinary Arts in NYC

Ricky Lo - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - “If I meet somebody interesting, I might stay there for good, why not?”

Michelle Madrigal sounded serious when she made that “threat” during a merienda with movie writers recently.

By “somebody interesting,” she was referring to a man good enough for her to turn her back on showbiz.

Michelle is deadest on taking up Culinary Arts in New York. From there, she plans to visit Europe.

“Wherever that someone is,” she added, “eh, di d’un na ako.”

The mini-presscon, called by Michelle’s manager Annabelle Rama, was about Michelle’s third landing as cover girl of FHM, this time solo unlike the first two times when she shared the spotlight with sister Ehra Madrigal.

Even if she looks smashing on the cover (for the mag’s April issue), Michelle insisted that she’s not even sexy.

“I’m just playful, makulit and bubbly. I just choose the time when and the place where I can show my sexiness. FHM is the right one. During the shoot, I felt like I was the sexiest and hottest girl in the world. I told myself, ‘Hey, Michelle, you’re already half-naked, you might as well give it 200 percent.’ So, hayan!”

Michelle said she’s fancy free (former boyfriends include Jon Hall and JC de Vera), that’s why she’s looking forward to meeting “somebody interesting” abroad.

“Sana,” she added, keeping her fingers crossed.
