Life and Style goes to Cebu

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - As the first leg of its summer special, the staff and crew of Life and Style With Gandang Ricky Reyes (LSWGRR) flew to Cebu and the blow-by-blow account of the business-cum-leisure sojourn will be featured this Saturday at 10 a.m. on GMA News TV-11.

Host-producer Ricky Reyes tasted the most expensive hamburger sandwich in the Philippines. This is the Wagyu Burger only served at Manny O’s situated at Movenpick Resort and Spa of the Queen City of the South. Find out why this sandwich with amazingly tender and mouth-watering beef flown in the country from Japan is sold at P1,800 per order.

Viewers will be taken to the scenic, historical and metro cosmopolitan places local and foreign tourists frequent. A former Cebuano barber who is now a certified millionaire will have a chat with Ricky, too. He is mighty proud to recount his strife and sad experiences before his small capital company flourished into what may be termed an empire.

Viewers will also meet the first TESDA Galing Ng Pinoy Magsaysay awardee Dr. Edward Dampor whose inventions Shredder Machine and Oxygen Generator has benefited patients in various Visayas and Mindanao hospitals. Remember star cager Ramon Fernandez? When King of Rebound Mon retired from the hardcourt, he put up Negosyong Presidente Suka and his vinegar is now a byword in households.

In the dream-come-true segment, a Cebuano with a harelip is this week’s recipient of Ricky’s generosity.
