MANILA, Philippines - The first International Conference on Open and Distance e-Learning will be held at the Century Park Hotel on Feb. 23 to 24 with the theme “Creating Spaces and Possibilities.” ICODeL 2012 is co-organized by the UP Open University (UPOU), UPOU Foundation Incorporated (UPOUFI) and Philippine Society for Distance Learning, Inc. (PSDL).
Professors Denise Kirkpatrick and Curtis Bonk will speak at the conference and conduct pre-conference workshops tomorrow, Feb. 22 on “Scholarship in Open and Distance E-Learning: Perspectives and Approaches” and “Technology-Enhanced Teaching and Learning.”
Along with Professors Kirkpatrick and Bonk, Prof. Tian Belawati from Universitas Terbuka of Indonesia, Prof. Grace Javier Alfonso from the University of the Philippines Open University, Dr. Eing-Ming Wu from the Kaohsiung Open University of Taiwan and Prof. Gajaraj Dhanarajan from the Wawasan Open University of Malaysia will serve as plenary speakers.
