SPED seminars set

MANILA, Philippines - Patricia Muñoz, a fully credentialed special education teacher in California, will conduct the following seminars: Implementing an Effective Inclusion Program for Children with Special Needs on Feb. 5; Utilizing Instructional & Curricular Modifications for Special Needs Students in an Inclusion Program, Feb. 12; Utilizing Effective Strategies to Serve the Needs of Special Children, Feb. 19; Preparing an Effective Individualized Education Plan (IEP), a Vital Tool in the SPED Program, Feb. 26; and How to Cope When Your Child or Student is Special, March 4.

Basic Sign Language Class will be conducted tomorrow, Feb. 4 and on Feb. 25. All seminars and classes will be held at 98 Matatag, Bgy. Central, Quezon City. Tel. nos. 0916-4280737 and 434-6064. Sunday seminar hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Basic Sign Language from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registration starts at 8:15 a.m. and 9:15 a.m., respectively. Weekday classes on the above modules may be conducted as per arrangement. Protégé offers tutorial lessons, therapy services, educational assessments and consultancy on setting up special education schools and programs.
