Nickelodeon gave ABS-CBN the exclusive rights to air its premium titles across all its media platforms in 2010. Pinoy kids already enjoyed Spongebob Squarepants, Dora The Explorer, El Tigre and Avatar, which all had successful runs in the Kapamilya network.
Marvel, which gave birth to the world’s most famous superheroes through its comic books, also entrusted its titles to ABS-CBN. The network earlier aired The Avengers and X-Men on its weekday morning block.
