Carmina balik-Kapamilya

DIRECT LINE - Boy Abunda -

Carmina Villarroel is now a certified Kapamilya and is happy to be back at ABS-CBN. “Yung pagiging isang pamilya, yun talaga yung na-miss ko. Ang sarap ng feeling na binabalikan mo yung pinanggalingan mo,” Carmina enthused.

“And there is one more reason why I’m excited to be back. Bongga talaga yung Star Magic Ball, eh gusto ko yun,” Carmila quipped. Carmina wishes to attend the Star Magic Ball even if she is not a Star Magic talent.

She also misses working with Piolo Pascual whom she worked with in Esperanza. “Napakahusay. Masarap kasing nagkakaroon kayo ng eksena, nagde-deliver kayo, nagbibigayan. Yun ang na-miss ko, yung makatrabaho yung magagaling na artista.”

She thinks Piolo is the most handsome actor in Philippine showbiz. Among the female actors, Kristine Hermosa tops her list of the most beautiful. She considers John Lloyd Cruz and Jericho Rosales, Ai-Ai delas Alas and Cherry Pie Picache as among the best.

Carmina does not discount the possibility of interviewing BB Gandanghari sometime in the future. She is set to do a talk show with Janice de Belen, Ogie Diaz and Joey Marquez, a teleserye and a movie. She revealed that before BB’s explosive admission on national television that he was gay, they had already talked about it. “Para kaming friends. Tawa kami nang tawa medyo kinda weird pero hindi.” Both of them have moved on, and are happy with their separate lives.

When BB came out while he was inside Big Brother’s house, Carmina chose to keep quiet. People in the industry respected her. “It’s really our choice. Kahit sabihin mong nandito tayo sa industriya, mga host, showbiz-oriented hosts pa tayo, it’s really our choice to shut up or speak up. Kung anuman yung hindi nangyaring ‘di maganda sa amin, sa amin na lang yun pero pinaalam ko sa publiko na tapos na and then that’s it.”

Carmina is home and it’s as if she never left.

Cristine joins Nang Dahil sa Pag-ibig

Cristine Reyes joins the cast of Nang Dahil sa Pag-ibig  with Maricar Reyes, Jericho Rosales and Piolo Pascual. “I’m so excited to work with Piolo Pascual because it’s our first project together. Second project namin ito ni Maricar at ni Echo. I know na magagaling silang lahat na artista and I’m hoping na susubaybayan ito ng mga tao.”

Cristine is thrilled, “I’m really looking forward to doing this project. I will be working with excellent actors.”

After No Other Woman, people are closely watching the moves of Cristine, one of the most exciting actors of this generation.
