MANILA, Philippines - History is set to unfold as the country starts the year with the impeachment trial of Supreme Court Chief Justice Renato Corona.

As the impeachment court resumes session tomorrow, Jan. 16, GMA News and Public Affairs gears up again to give viewers the most comprehensive, blow-by-blow account of the impeachment trial.

The live, continuous coverage on GMA News TV 11, dubbed The Chief Justice on Trial is anchored by Arnold Clavio and Vicky Morales. Televiewers can also look forward to intelligent analyses from experts in Constitutional Law.

Last Dec. 12, the country watched as the House of Representatives voted to impeach Chief Justice Corona. Soon after, the Senate convened itself into an impeachment court. In the complaint, Corona is being accused of graft and corruption, culpable violation of the Constitution and betrayal of public trust.

Tomorrow, watch as opposing counsels deliver their opening statements as the trial unfolds on Philippine TV.
