An unstoppable 2012

Home to the most recognizable names and faces in commercials and modeling, Mercator is committed to elevating talent management to new heights in entertainment. Mercator continuously discovers and develops talents in modeling and show business.

Under its wings, I have just renewed my contract with ABS-CBN for another year, which means I’ll be around Umagang Kay Ganda and A.S.A.P.

JC Tiuseco is in  GMA 7’s afternoon prime Kokak as one of Sarah Lahbati’s leading men. JC is committed to hone his acting skills and work towards becoming a leading man in the near future.

Mikael Daez, who started with guest hosting for Showbiz Central in Jan. 1, wants to explore this side of show business. Smart and engaging, he is sure to do very well. He also has a new soap coming up, completing an intriguing love triangle with Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes for My Beloved. He is also one of Marian’s leading men in Amaya and has worked with her in Bampirella and the hit movie Temptation Island. He also writes for The Philippine STAR via column titled, Fully Loaded, and has a blog site as well. One of Mercator’s well-rounded artists, Mikael is ready for a busier 2012.

Ervic Vijandre was introduced in Regal Films’ Shake Rattle & Roll in last December’s Metro Manila Film Festival and is still shooting two other movies this month.  He is a regular in Kokak. The athletic hunk has gone places since his stint in Celebrity Survivor.

Lemuel Pelayo, Mercator’s most sought-after commercial talent, is now in ABS-CBN’s afternoon soap Angelito. Lemuel is fast on the heels of his fellow Mercator models who have crossed over to showbiz.

Kerbie Zamora, whose claim to fame was Zombadings co-starring with Martin Escudero and Lauren Young, is shooting for My Beloved and is also set to shoot two movies.

Fabio Ide, one of the trailblazers of the Brapanese invasion of Philippine showbiz, will be part of My Beloved, too, after his successful comedic stints in Comedy Bar and Sarap at Home.

Another potential leading man, Daniel Matsunaga has a new show on GMA with Kylie Padilla and Rocco Nacino tilted The Good Daughter.

Hideo Muraoka remains to be fashion industry’s “it” boy with even more numerous endorsements coming his way.

Other artists of Mercator pursuing showbiz are Ian Batherson, Bjorn Aguilar, Darlene Anderson, Gerard Sison and Alizon Andres.

Seeing this much potential so early this year is certainly enough to inspire anyone to reach for the stars. Indeed, Mercator and its talents are armed and ready to take on the commercial and entertainment industries this 2012.
