Charito Solis is the most beautiful animal in the world

More than a decade before Gloria Diaz’s Pinakamagandang Hayop sa Balat ng Lupa, Charito Solis was already billed as one. That is in the 1963 movie Pinakamagandang Hayop sa Daigdig, which has a World War II setting.

In the movie, Charito sacrifices love and honor and future to protect her family and countrymen.

Charito shared topbilling with Willie Sotelo, Bert Silva and Annabelle Huggins, the victim in a sensational rape case.
