Darling Twins star in Kuskus Balungos

In the late ’40s, identical twins Aurora and Esperanza, more popularly known as the Darling Twins, starred in Premiere’s Kuskus Balungos. They were named after two First Ladies, Doña Aurora Quezon and Doña Esperanza Osmeña.

The theme song of Kuskus Balungos is Magkapilas na Langit, composed by Santiago S. Suarez for the two child stars.

The Darling Twins won the hearts of moviegoers with their lovable ways on- and off-cam, ahead of such child stars as Tessie Agana and Mila Nimfa.  — RKC
