MANILA, Philippines - Pursuing a career while raising a happy and healthy family is no mean feat, especially for celebrity moms. For one, preparing nutritious food that their kids can actually love is one big challenge they must tackle amid their busy schedules. With the right mindset and the help of their latest discovery — the Jollibee Chicken Nugget Crunchers — four accomplished celebrity moms share how they manage to give their kids only the best.
“My husband and I really sit down and discuss our schedules. We talk about what we have in a week and we find time for our family,” shares PBA sportscaster and TV host Patricia Bermudez-Hizon.The young mom juggles life as a sports writer, the head for advocacy and marketing of Maynilad, and a philanthropist with her two foundations — Everyday is Your Birthday and High Five Hope. Nevertheless, Patricia prioritizes her role as a loving wife to basketball superstar Vince Hizon and mom to kids Paul Andrei, 4, and Vicente, 6.
Fellow TV host Romina Urra-Gonzales shares the same philosophy when it comes to balancing her life. The Working Mom magazine columnist and style editor always makes sure that she has time for her family. “I’m really a mom first. Career is something I do because I enjoy it. It’s something for myself. I believe having a career and being a mom go hand-in-hand. Although, if I had to choose between both, I’d always choose being a mom first.” Romina also advises that it’s important for moms to have time for themselves, too.
Busy or not, nutrition is a top priority when it comes to their children. Career moms like Patricia and Romina are constantly challenged to find ready-to-eat, delicious and nutritious food that their children would enjoy. “We’re so lucky now that we have the Jollibee Chicken Nugget Crunchers available to us. With added carrot bits filled with vitamin A, what more can you ask for as a parent,” says Patricia. The media maven believes that her new discovery really does have everything that children and moms will enjoy.

A health-conscious mommy herself, Lexi shares that vegetables are a staple in every family meal. With her hectic lifestyle, the ANC Cityscapes host is glad that Jollibee’s latest offering lets her conveniently serve a healthy twist of the classic kids’ favorite. TV host Christine Jacobs-Sandejas is also grateful for the new discovery. “If I need to get my kids food that I’m sure they’ll eat, I just take them to Jollibee.”
