Robert Arevalo: 'Action star'

Early in his career, Robert Arevalo starred in a number of action pictures, among them Panginoon, where he portrayed Totoy Kidlat, gun for hire. Robert would later become an award-winning actor, director and writer.

But in Panginoon, Robert wields a gun and shoots from the hip in true action star form.

Directed by Efren Reyes, himself awardee as actor, Panginoon co-starred Johnny Monteiro, Bob Soler, Aura Aurea and Mina Aragon (late wife of Viva big boss Vic del Rosario, Fermina Salvador offcam).

Married to Barbara Perez, Robert is the son of actor-musical director-composer Tito Arevalo and the nephew of director Gerry de Leon, National Artist.
