Vilma's multi-faceted life on TV5's Anggulo

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Vilma Santos-Recto (photo) shares the different facets of her life in tonight’s edition of Anggulo on TV5 and Aksyon TV.

From Ate Vi’s very first acting award for Trudis Liit at the age of nine to her unrivalled stature as the Star for All Seasons, Anggulo traces roots of the legendary actress-turned-politician who has starred in nearly 200 movies and bagged almost a hundred acting awards. She sustained a five-decade showbiz career, capturing both movie and TV audiences.

Beyond showbiz, Ate Vi has extended her personal devotion to the province of Batangas for 13 years now. Being married to Sen. Ralph Recto, Vilma shifted gears to public service. She says her priority now is Batangas, where she serves her second term as governor.

Ate Vi also shares how she is as a mom to Luis Manzano and Ryan Recto. Luis says he’s lucky to have a simple and cool mom. Ryan says he has an intelligent and kind mother. On top of it all, Sen. Ralph could not imagine being with another woman but Vilma.

NEWS5 chief Luchi Cruz-Valdes and her hardworking reporters Jove Francisco, Ina Zara and Maricel Halili helm Anggulo, airing after AKSYON JournalisMO on TV5 and airing earlier on Aksyon TV at 8:30 tonight (Channel 41 in Mega Manila, Channel 29 in Metro Cebu and Davao, Channel 1 on Cignal Digital TV and Channel 59 on SkyCable).
